After sacrificing so much, our veterans shouldn’t have to fight again for fair benefits.

But after nine years of Stephen Harper, that’s exactly what’s happening. Too many military and RCMP veterans and their families can’t access the service they need to live in dignity.

Tom Mulcair’s New Democrats are working hard to change that.

We have a plan to re-open shuttered Veterans Affairs offices, end pension clawbacks, and expand health services for all veterans and their families.

Your support can help us get the job done.

We the undersigned residents of Canada recognize the following:

  • Canadian Forces and RCMP veterans and their families deserve our deepest gratitude and deserve to be taken care of.
  • After nine years of Conservative government, too many veterans and their families still cannot access adequate health care, pensions and other vital supports—and are now dealing with the closure of nine frontline Veterans Affairs offices;
  • Tom Mulcair has a plan to end service pension clawbacks, re-open shuttered Veterans Affairs offices, and widen access to quality home care, long-term care and mental health care services.

THEREFORE, we call on the Government of Canada to implement Tom Mulcair’s plan to improve services for Canadian Forces and RCMP veterans and their families.
